The support, interest and involvement of members is the lifeblood of an organisation. As a member, you’ll be at the heart of our activities and campaigns, whether for a high quality and inclusive education system, action to help the environment, human rights and fairness, or a dynamic and flourishing exchange of ideas with others inspired by the path of awakening.
The NBO provides a forum for Buddhists to talk to each other, and a conduit for the Buddhist voice to government. You will be part of the NBO information email group, for use by both individuals and group members. News of events, campaigns and topical issues are sent out to the group. It can be helpful to hear about another group facing similar challenges or working on a similar topic. You will have the opportunity to join in projects, give an opinion on issues, and we hope some of you will consider joining the NBO executive committee.
